ICCBM12 was a great success!

The IOBCr Innovation Prize 2008: The prize of $150 and a certificate (funded by a donation from Professor Jan Drenth and the European Commission OptiCryst Project) was awarded to Seth Fraden, S. Selimovic, Y. Jia, F. Gobeaux and H. Gonzalez-Ochoa, Brandeis University, USA.
The ICCBM12 Poster Prize: The prize of $300 (donated by Technology Networks Ltd and ePosters.net) and a certificate was awarded to Massano Sugiyama and Victor Barocas, University of Minnesota, USA.
The ICCBM12 Prize for Best Talk by Young Scientist: Two prizes of $150 each (donated by Microlytic ApS) and a certificate were awarded to Paula Llinas from Institut Curie, Paris, France, and to Pedro M. Martins from IBMC, Portugal.

ICCBM12 conference papers to appear in a special issue of Crystal Growth & Design.
ICCBM11 conference papers appeared in Crystal Growth & Design, Vol. 7(11), 2007.

The OptiCryst consortium, a sixth framework programme of the European Commision, started its work on the development, implementation and exploitation of new technologies to overcome the bottleneck of protein crystal optimisation. It involves a conserted effort by 7 SMEs and 4 academic groups.
